- SPECIFIC FUNCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO BE PERFORMED

 

A.                LIVE SHOTS

Sahara Media  provides access to a one camera LIVE shot position in each specified city.  Rooftop or balcony stand-up position is available because Sahara Media Office rooftop provides good view of the above-mentioned cities.  

 

LIVE SHOT INFORMATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

l        All the requests and specifications for live shot  such as the position, the availability of a  camera and its  person , IFB and coordination, ear piece, lava mic, MCR facilities, and connection to fiber or uplink can be provided by Sahara Media.

l        Sahara Media  can usually provide 15 minute books for LIVES  news injects and between 25 to 70 minute LIVES fort Current Affairs shows.  These are example timings and are subject to change

l        Sahara Media  provides transportation (taxi or Sedan service) for guests  and local phone coordination confirming times and giving directions.

 

B.        LIVE AND TAPED MULTI-CAMERA STUDIOS

            Sahara Media has a studio equipped  3 cameras and a video-audio mixer for live and taped shows.

 

C.      FIELD CAMERA CREWS

          1- Nouakchott

·        8 cameras (4 DVCAM 570 P, 3  HDV-DV CAM Z 1, 1 Beta SP) with all required accessories and specifications such as microphones spotlights cables etc..

·        5 professional cameramen

·        three sound engineers     

·        three light engineers.

            2- Rabat

·        3 cameras (2 DVCAM 570 P, 1  HDV-DV CAM Z 1) with all required accessories and specifications such as microphones spotlights cables etc..

·        2 professional cameramen

·        1 sound engineer

3- Dakar

·        2 cameras (1 DVCAM 570 P, 1  HDV-DV CAM Z 1) with all required accessories and specifications such as microphones spotlights cables etc..

D.      EDITING

            1 – Nouakchott

·        5 edit suits on a daily basis (5 Avid Media Composers, in addition to one mobile Avid unit and analog Beta SP edit unit)

·        Editor availability : five editors

·        How much notice is needed? Two to four minutes reports take two hours to prepare.

2 – Rabat

·        3 edit suits on a daily basis (2 Avid Media Composers, in addition to one mobile Avid unit )

·        Editor availability : 2 editors

·        How much notice is needed? Two to four minutes reports take two hours to prepare.

1 – Dakar

·        2 edit suits on a daily basis (1 Avid Media Composers, in addition to one mobile Avid unit)

·        Editor availability : 2 editors
